Coeur d’Alene Golf Resort

Home to the world’s only moveable floating green, the Coeur d’Alene Resort course is a lakeside gem designed by Scott Miller. Players take a boat ride to the 14th green, but the real magic lies in the setting—Lake Coeur d’Alene provides postcard-perfect views from nearly every hole.
I loved the polished, resort-like feel of this course, contrasted with natural lake light and breezy pines. It’s fun, challenging, and truly one of a kind.

Whistler Golf Club

Whistler Golf Club (Whistler, BC, Canada)
Set at the base of British Columbia’s majestic Coast Mountains, Whistler Golf Club is Arnold Palmer’s first Canadian design—a walkable, scenic course with generous fairways and unforgettable mountain views. The layout strikes a balance between relaxed resort golf and smart strategy, making it a favorite among locals and travelers alike.
Palmer embraced the land’s natural flow, preserving wetlands and carving playful par fives into the terrain. It’s the kind of course where light, texture, and scenery do half the storytelling before the first swing.

Granada Golf Course

Granada Golf Course in Hot Springs Village is a true Arkansas gem. Towering pines, rolling hills, and one of the most scenic 18th holes you’ll ever play — complete with a waterfall finish. Designed by Ault & Clark, it’s as beautiful as it is challenging. Fast greens, sweeping views, and a vibe that’s pure golf.

Peninsula Papagayo Golf Club

Nestled on the scenic tip of Costa Rica’s Papagayo Peninsula, just a 30‑minute drive from Liberia, the Peninsula Papagayo Golf Club (commonly known as the Ocean Course at Four Seasons) is an exquisite 18‑hole, par‑72 championship layout designed by Arnold PalmerDesign. Winding across 125 acres of lush old‑growth forest, dramatic sea cliffs, and rolling elevation changes, the course delivers panoramic Pacific Ocean views on 14–15 holes, highlighted by the iconic tee‑shot on the downhill 6th hole. With wide, undulating fairways and generously contoured greens, it offers both a fair challenge for golf enthusiasts and a feast for the senses. Plus, it’s an Audubon‑certified sanctuary, where verdant flora and native wildlife—such as howler monkeys and tropical birds—enrich each round

Sandy Lane Resort

Tucked into an old limestone quarry on the island of Barbados, The Green Monkey Course at Sandy Lane is one of Tom Fazio’s most imaginative creations—and this bunker might be his most playful. Look closely and you’ll spot a small turf island shaped like the course’s namesake: the green monkey 🐒⛳️

I had the incredible opportunity to photograph this course while working with the great Jimmy Kidd—father of architect David McLay Kidd. Jimmy’s passion for agronomy and artistry helped bring this tropical wonderland to life. Barbados left a lasting impression on me, and this course is truly a jewel of the Caribbean.

I can still hear the ocean breeze through the palms. Can’t wait to get back someday.

The Club at Morningside

Tucked into the heart of Rancho Mirage, California, The Club at Morningside is pure desert elegance. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this lush oasis stands in beautiful contrast to the rugged mountains beyond. Every hole feels like a private garden, meticulously manicured and full of character—just like the game itself.

Medinah Country Club

Medinah Country Club’s iconic clubhouse stands as a majestic centerpiece alongside its famed Course No. 3 in Medinah, Illinois. Designed in the mid-1920s by Richard G. Schmid, a charter club member, the clubhouse blends Byzantine, Oriental, Louis XIV, and Italian architectural styles—a mosaic that remains largely unchanged today. Constructed by the Greene Brothers Shriners, its standout features include a 60‑foot dome, elegant rotunda, and rich interior murals by Gustav A. Brand—symbols of the club’s Shriner origins and commitment to artistry
Following a meticulous restoration in 1997, the clubhouse’s frescos, stenciling, and decorative details were revived, preserving its historic grandeur
Today, this 105,000‑square‑foot structure serves as more than just an architectural marvel—it embodies the club’s storied heritage and its ongoing relevance to world‑class golf. Situated amid rolling fairways, tennis courts, swimming facilities, and Lake Kadijah, the clubhouse plays host to members, guests, and golf legends alike.
It has welcomed some of the sport’s greatest moments—from U.S. Opens and PGA Championships to the dramatic 2012 Ryder Cup—further cementing its role as a hub of championship golf and refined social experience

The Ocean Club Four Seasons Resort

Hanging out of a helicopter high over the Bahamas with a view of the entire island, I chose to feature this tight image of a green with just a touch of palm trees to give it that tropical flavor. What a special place this is!
