Hacienda Pinilla, in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, is more than just a golf course — it’s a place that feels like home. I’ve been photographing this property since it first opened twenty-seven years ago, and every visit reminds me why I hold it so close. The clubhouse, surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, is the heart of the experience. Walking up the driveway, I’m always greeted with a warm welcome from the staff — a gesture that never fails to make me feel part of the Hacienda Pinilla family.

From behind the lens, the scene is alive with color and texture. The deep greens of the palms and foliage wrap around the earth-toned clubhouse, while the tropical light shifts constantly throughout the day, painting the scene with energy and warmth.
