Forest Highlands Golf Club – A Morning in Golfing Paradise
Nestled in the high country of Northern Arizona, Forest Highlands Golf Club is a masterpiece that winds through stunning canyons, offering one of the most breathtaking golf experiences imaginable. Designed by my friends, the late Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, this course is both a golf haven and a spectacular real estate community.
I had the privilege of visiting during and after the development phase, and every time I returned, I was reminded of just how special this place is. Towering ponderosa pines, dramatic elevation changes, and crisp mountain air create an atmosphere that’s nothing short of magical. Add in the frequent wildlife sightings—elk, deer, and even the occasional black bear—and you get a golf experience unlike any other.

I want you to be out there and don’t think about the sport; don’t think about the slope; don’t think about the rating. Just purify this – the beauty of golf that was born 500 years ago. Just drop your ball and have fun trying to hit the lowest number of shots into the hole.
Enjoy nature… take your shoes off… breathe the freshly cut grass… listen to the birds. We are so fixed on how the game has progressed that we forget how the game was born. It was born to enjoy nature. It’s the only sport that is designed and defined by nature.
